something is wrong with my CRAPPY PC on ai
Ok here I go. on my user control panels my homepage is some porn site. I've changed it and deleted many times(yes I confirmed it) but it keeps coming back as my home page!!! Is this a virus or spyware or what? Jesus Christ I can't wait to save up enough money to buy a mac.

Glad you're switching to the Mac! If you need any Mac advice, just ask. If you are short on money, you can always get a lower end used one on eBay.

Thank you, Paul.
you also need to update it a bit... firebird is now firefox
I fixed that (Firebird-Firefox) right after you posted. I'm replacing those pages soon with some PHP I'm writing myself, but I'll be sure to tell you when I do so you can update your bookmarks.

When you update Windows (particularly Internet Explorer), a lot of times your home page will be changed to msn.com right? Or perhaps Windows Media Player will open up the "store" window when launched. I'm sure there's spyware that works in the same way, changing your preferences to bug you.

That will be the day when I buy my mac. That won't be in 4 months though cause my grandma is doubling my savings on my birthday! Meaning I'll have at least 4200 dollars to buy a G5!

Have you reloaded it since your last post?

Yup. I also did some tinkering with the computer and so far so good. Better stay as apple.ca for my homepage too\

Yup...
Ah, sorry -- that reload question was directed at Paul (he said I needed to update that page; I updated it before he could remind me to update it).
As for you troubles, I would strongly recommend you read that page (http://brad.project-think.com/genius/help01.html) and pay particular attention to steps 2 and 4. Specifically, get and run Spybot and Ad-aware and replace Internet Explorer as your default browser with Mozilla Firefox.
When you're done, re-read that whole page again twice more! The points I outline there cannot be reiterated and underscored enough. The only reason people get junk installed on their computer that mess them up like this are because they are careless. Please, take heed of my advice.
