AIM Error

I have a .Mac account. In the past I have no problem adding people to my buddy list. I just tried to add someone and got the message:

AIM Error



Could not add <name> to your buddy list.

(Feedbag error 17)



---------------------------------------------------------------





I am using iChat AV 2.1 (beta). Could the reason be the beta software or is something else going on?

    how many people are on your buddy list? the max is 200 and you are probably hitting it...

    I assume you're getting this error when you try to add someone?



    No seriously, try deleting a few people then see if you can add.



    My girlfriend had the same problem, even though she didn't have anywhere near 200 contacts on her buddy list



    The 200 buddy limit is bullsh*t anyways.

    Probably an issue with the beta. Downgrade and see if it's still a problem or not.
