Create a virtualpc drive from real drive?

does anyone know if this is possible? i tried simply mounting the VPC drive and then copying the contents of the PC drive to it, but when i try to boot, i am told "OS not found"

    Why should it be? You can't create a Windows-bootable real drive by copying the contents of one drive to another.

    ya, i figured as much, but i thought it couldnt hurt to try the obvious first

    so does anyone else have any ideas if this is possible or not?

    are there any pc utilities that can clone a harddrive?
