installing webdav module...

i'm trying to set-up webdav on my file server (which runs 10.2.8 ), so we can publish our ical files to it.



i've bee reading this article from macdevcenter. but i've hit a snag stright away.



i have download the webdav files. when i go to the terminal, cd into the folder and type:



./configure



i get an error back. no c compiler or somthing. or was it gcc?



any ideas?

    finkcommander & fink are your friends. Install them from versiontracker and use it to get gcc and other packages that you need.

    Use fink to install gcc? Why not use Apple's own free Developer Tools? They're even included with the OS so you don't have to download anything.

    You need to install the Apple Dev tools. (Some fink things won't work without them.) ANY compiling you do will require them. So go to developer.apple.com sign up for a free online account and download away!
