yeah, a kid might see some explicit movie stopped at a red light, but is that the problem, or is our nation's continued embarrassment over sex the problem? i mean, would the same parent object to a violent scene from an action movie viewable through a car window? i don't think quite as many would. i completely oppose the obscenity laws in this country because I don't think they really protect anyone.

Here here... and the country's currently moving in the wrong direction post-Janet.

I don't think the problem here is that people might see into the car, but that people are trying to watch and drive at the same time. That's a really bad combo. I didn't read the link that burningwheel provided, but I did read a story in my local paper a few days ago about a driver that caused an accident as a result of his watching of pr0n while driving.
Edit: Just read the article, and my post is a little bit off. I was thinking of something different. Note to self: read links BEFORE posting.
Yeah, I'd love my 3 year old to see a woman sucking 2 foot long cocks at a stop light. Don't you have a George Bush thread to start or something?
heh.
But seriously, is there anything really wrong with children being aware of sex? I don't know. I mean I don't think so? What harm does it actually do? I might be to the left of the US and Canada on this one...
"daddy, why is that lady getting a penis shoved up her ass while she's getting spanked? and what's that stuff he's spraying all over her? eeewwww, why is she sucking it clean? and why are those other 5 guys naked and playing with themselves"
that's what i want right before i drop her off at school.
soon to be followed by "Sir, why is your son/daughter vividly depicting a porn video to all of the other children on the playground"
shortly followed by "sir, we're going to have to take your child while we investigate charges of sexual abuse"
If you watch porn while you drive, you're being a fvcking idiot... period. Forget the moral aspects. It means you're obviously not paying attention to the road and the other people around you and thus making it easier to cause a serious accident.
At least other types of movies and shows are easier to ignore if you're in the car. If you've got porn on it's because you're obviously wanting to watch it so bad you can't even muster enough self control to wait until you get home.
Brain-dead Wankers... all of them.

Nothing is wrong with kids being aware of sex, but this is entirely different. The birds and the bees shouldn't be explained by porn, that's just wrong. I don't want my kids growing up being afraid of sex, or thinking it's wrong or dirty, but I don't want my 5 year old watching porn.
However, I will make my kids aware of the consequences of sex, and all the things that can go wrong with it. Sex is a tough issue, but allowing 5 year olds to watch porn, that's open and shut.
If a theater owner allowed a 5 year old into his theater to see "Debbie does Dubuque", how much would he be fined? If the driver of the car next to you was flashing the kids in other cars, what would happen to him?
You're driving a car. It has windows. If you are showing porn visible to other motorists, you should be arrested for indecent exposure. If you are driving and watching porn on a screen visible to the driver, you should be arrested for indecent exposure, and fined $1000 for watching TV while driving. Just to be nice, you can pass $500 of that to the installers who knowingly break the law and install a display where the driver can view it, or disable the feature that allows drivers to only view it in park.

Enough with the repression already.

Janet will host and perform on SNL soon, her first post-flash television appearance. Should be interesting to see who she skewers.

Yea everyone's too prude in this country. It's wrong to try to control your 5 year olds introduction to gang bangs. Everyone needs to lighten up.
What's the harm?
EDIT: Okay, perhaps children might get the wrong idea about women depending on the nature of the gang-bang depicted. But other than that...?

Not everyone, apparently just you.
Maybe we should start sperm banks at all rest stops along the highway. That will relieve some tension off the road...

The same people who:
1. Yak on a cell phone.
2. Eat whoppers.
3. Play games.
4. Try to find "culture" on the radio.
5. Drink a PBR.
6. Get a blow job.
7. Sleep.
8. ...etc.
What ever happened to driving a goddamn car anyway?
The car - Not just transportation...an extention of your boring, indulgent, lazy lifestyle!
