Prior to the update, my battery was reporting in the 3600 range. Now, after 10.3.3, I'm getting 3935!

Buy a new battery. I hate be the realist, but Li-ions have a limited lifespan and you've had yours over a year - bad luck, but not unheard of. My first iBook battery lasted about 14 months before the sleeptime crept up to 85% (about 20 min of use). You probably just happened to run it on battery for the first time in a while after applying the update, and so blame it on that. But it's almost certainly just a dying battery. I was told Apple will only replace batteries within a year of purchase....you (and I) just missed.

Yeah, it sucks....all batteries do. But if untethered powerbooking is that important to you, it's surely worth 130 bucks every year or two.

Oh reeeeally. That's not what they told me. The idget on the other end mumbled something about "non replaceable parts" and said it wasn't covered outside of 90 days. And no it's not the battery I don't think. The capacity IS 85%, so that doesn't mean it should sleep at 85%. Anywwho, this started happening October when I went from 10.2.8 to 10.3.2 with Batt Update 1.1 all in one day. It's gotta be software I just don't know what to do.

Have you tried to wipe your hard drive and reinstall everything from the beginning, haven't you? I find it difficult to be software related if a clean system installation does not resolve it.
