Flat Panel update for the PB soon???

As one who is considering replacement two desktop units with portables, any thoughts on PB flat panel updates would be greatly appreciated. Recent comparisons between the current Apple PB display and 15" & 16" panels in several darkside portables at CompUSA give a big thumbs up to the bad guys at least in the view of these 50+ year old eyes.



- who mfgs apples flat panels?



- is there any chance that we might see advanced panel technology in the next PB update - perhaps the equivalent of Fujitsu's Multi-Domain Vertical Alignment [MVA] technology such as is used in the Formac Gallery display?

    I Think it's Samsung, not sure though.

    Apple has several vendors for flat panels. LG Philips makes some (including the Cinema displays), Samsung makes others, etc.
