Mouse problem

I've just upgraded to 10.3.3 (from 10.2) and I've got a Logitech MX-500 mouse. When i start up my computer the tracking on the mouse is too fast, but when i click on system preferences and the mouse section it's the same as it was before, and then it starts acting normal if i just click the 'tab!'

Does anyone know how to fix this problem

Try re loading the drivers for the mouse, either that or trashing the .plst file (preference file) for mouse.
