Epson C40UX wont work with my powerbook...why?!?!?!

hmmmm i have an epson C40UX and USBed it to my laptop and tried to add the printer but it said "driver not found" but then i put the install CD in and it is a OS9 load only so i cannot get the software on my comp....aaaaaaahhh what do i do....geniuses please help

    They have drivers for it, www.epson.com I believe. I used to have the exact same printer I recall, and I had it right after jag came out for a little bit. Let me know if that helps.

    its downloading right now but i'll have to check in a few minutes when i restart to see if it worked...thanks a bunch
