Yup... Not much said about it -

Security Update 2004-04-05 delivers a number of security enhancements and is recommended for all Macintosh users. This update includes the following components:

    CUPS Printing

    libxml2

    Mail

    OpenSSL

    It's 3.7MB.

Edit: Here's da bom (a condensed version):

    Quote:

    ./Applications/Mail.app/Contents/Info.plist

    ./Applications/Mail.app/Contents/MacOS/Mail

    ./Applications/Mail.app/Contents/version.plist

    ./System/Library/CoreServices/AppleFileServer.app/Contents/Info.plist

    ./System/Library/CoreServices/AppleFileServer.app/Contents/MacOS/AppleFileServer

    ./System/Library/CoreServices/AppleFileServer.app/Contents/PkgInfo

    ./System/Library/CoreServices/AppleFileServer.app/Contents/version.plist

    ./System/Library/OpenSSL/misc/CA.pl

    ./System/Library/OpenSSL/misc/CA.sh

    ./System/Library/OpenSSL/misc/c_hash

    ./System/Library/OpenSSL/misc/c_info

    ./System/Library/OpenSSL/misc/c_issuer

    ./System/Library/OpenSSL/misc/c_name

    ./System/Library/OpenSSL/misc/der_chop

    ./System/Library/OpenSSL/openssl.cnf

    ./private/etc/cups/cupsd.conf

    ./usr/bin/c_rehash

    ./usr/bin/openssl

    ./usr/bin/xml2-config

    ./usr/bin/xmlcatalog

    ./usr/bin/xmllint

    ./usr/lib/libcrypto.0.9.7.dylib

    ./usr/lib/libssl.0.9.7.dylib

    ./usr/lib/libxml2.2.dylib

    ./usr/lib/pkgconfig/libxml-2.0.pc

    ./usr/lib/pkgconfig/openssl.pc

    ./usr/lib/xml2Conf.sh

And then a heck of a lotta man pages and documentation for libxml and ssl.

It's a bill of materials for the package. Basically the items that the system got updated with.

Because it's a name that is descriptive and fits well.

ok, since the update, my Powermate does not work anymore. I verified the disk permissions too, still no luck. Not sure if this is just me, but I hope the kinks are worked out so I can use it again.

Just for the record, mine never stopped working. Sounds like it was a problem specific to you. I see that you got it working again, I just thought I'd let you know that it was just yours that was broken, not mine
