I'm back from Key West. I need to catch up on posting and replying. While I was down there I saw on CNN Headline news that Microsoft had cut some really ambitous features on Longhorn that would rival OS X so it debut in 2006 would be met. Is this a sign microsoft may be feeling the pressure?

    welcome back quag.

i think MS is feeling the pressure, not just from OS X, but from linux too. while Gates is promising revolutionary stuff, we know it's still years behind apple. now if only apple would advertise and let the public know that...

MS is feeling the pressure, but it's too little too late for them. They are already years behind, I share in ipodandimac's hope that Apple lets people know about that.

MS keeps dropping features from Longhorn in order to get it out before the decade is done, they might as well just call it XP SP3...it won't be much of an improvement over XP.
