I wonder how it measures up to VirtualPC (on non-G5s, that is). Bochs is designed for portability rather than speed, but Virtual PC seems to be highly optimised and hardware dependent (e.g. the G4's psuedo little endian mode). Perhaps XLC helped, perhaps it's an exaggeration.

The performance of Wintel sucks compared to VPC, tired it on my PowerBook G4. As of now G5 users don't have any Windows Emulation software just wanted to know if any of the G5 owners have tried OpenOSX Wintel on their G5's.

Wow that name is quite interesting/shocking to a soon-to-be mac newbi....it almost sounded like the dreams of nerds coast to coast had come true and apple had released osx to intel

sort of a bad name for something that RUNS WINDOWS!!!

OpenOSX? WinTel, sounds like "we OPENed OSX to WINTEL."

    Why not call it BLUE-SCREEN-4-Mac?
