When I try to boot up my Powerbook, it would stop at the Apple logo. This has never happened to me before. How do I fix this?

let it go for a really long time. sometimes after a crash it spends a long time on that screen.

Or, if you want to see what's happening "under the hood" hold down apple-v the next time you start. You may get a hint as to what is causing your PB to hang.
