iPod/iTunes sync question

in iPod + iTunes + AppleTV edited January 2014
when it autosyncs, i know it syncs playlists, but what else does it sync? ratings? play count?

    yes, as long its auto-updating as opposed to manual.

    All the tags and database info are synchronized automagically.

    Do they have "groupings" synced now? I know on my iPod (original 5giger), groupings don't sync.
