shockwave flash problems in Safari
I've recenty begun having problems were certain web site that use flash animations or flash games won't play correctly in Safari.
It's odd, because these sites have worked fine in the past.
The weird thing is after using Cocktail to clear the caches the sites all work fine again.
Any idea what would be causing this?
Would trasing Safari and re-installing it help the problem?
I tried to re-install Shockwave and Flash but it didn't help.
I have an iMac G4 800mhz with plenty of RAM.
Some of the games on this site were causing the problem:

Your problem is that you are using QuickTime to view Flash content. Go to System Preferences>QuickTime>Plug-in>MIME Settings>Miscellaneous>Flash File. Uncheck Flash File.
thanks anyways... I had never looked in the mime settings in the quicktime preference panel. It's a good thing to keep in mind for future problems.
