Here's an odd question

I live in an apartment building that is three stories and has a dozen or so apartments in it. A rumor is going around that last Friday someone committed suicide in the apartment above mine. I am curious if this is true. Does anyone know how if there is some govt. institution I can contact to verify this? Are deaths public knowledge? Are obituaries mandatory?

You could just go upstairs and knock on the door.

Do it. Say you're there to pick up the $500 he owes you.

Why not do a google search for the police report? Or just call your local precinct and ask if there has been any police activity at your building recently.

Good call, that is exactly what i'll do. I imagine the police would come if there was a suicide, right? Or just and ambulance?

    Holy mother of Hell.

That's why I quit my last job - they kept trying to pitch to local governments (it is a good profitable niche) but the ogres that run these places all have horrendous ideas, expect you to implement what they "design" and demand ridiculous approval processes and designs by committee...arrrrggghhhhh flashback!!!!

    (Kills 5 deeds clerks)

    Ok...I'm better now.

    Hence the Eric Cartman mascot?

Now, I love Cartman and all, but he has said a few offensive things in the past...
    • "Hippies, hippies... they want to save the world but all they do is smoke pot and play frisbee!"

    • "Go back to San Francisco with all the other Jews."

    • "How about we sing Kyle's Mom is a stupid bitch in D minor."

    • "My mom says there's a lot of black people in Africa."

    • "F*ck f*ckitty f*ck f*ck f*ck!!"

    • "Attention all shoppers cripple fight outside, cripple fight outside."

    • "Respect My Authoritah!"

    • "Be a man Stan. Just say, 'Hey woman, you shut your mouth and make babies."

    • "I would never kill somebody...not unless they piss me off."

    • "No way dude, my mom says God hates gay people."

...actually it all makes sense now.
