Hi all,

I have some video files in xvid-avi format. I can watch these files in VLC or Mplayer, but I would like to burn these onto a DVD to watch on my TV.

I've tried using QT to encode these, but QT doesn't recognize the xvid-avi format. Is there another app I can use to encode xvid-avi files to view on DVDs?

Thanks!

To watch these vids on a dvd player your going to have to encode them to mpeg2 format. Try ffmpeg or mpeg2works on Versiontracker.

Thanks, I had tried ffmpeg already with no luck. I'll give mpeg2works a shot tonight.
