installing an app: 'can't install (nul)'

i'm trying to install an app (fetchart1.1.1 as it happens)



in the installer i get to the screen to select the drive to install on. i'm on my PB so there is only one drive. when i select it, i get a warning red triangle and 'can't install on this volume (nul)'



anyone got any ideas what this means?

    The only time I have seen this happen is in the MySQL .dmg installer. In that one, you can just back out, then click through again, and it works. Maybe try that...if you're really lucky it'll work!
