Apple Store Down??
Why is the Apple store down? I wonder if we are getting something nice and juicy...I hope so because I was woken up to fix something at work and something new would make me getting up real early in the morning worth it!!
Or maybe just a price reduction on something!?!

maybe it has something to do with daylight savings?

That was part of the reason I had to wake up. Anyway, daylight savings for one page?? Thats odd.

hehe, yeah I am ansy too. The good news is that apple has a ten day return policy if the product is updated. At least I remember reading something somewhere about it. Can any else confirm this?
Has the little apple been blue lately on the store tab or is that new?

This is a myth.

It is not a myth about a ten day policy but the policy says that if there is a price reduction. It doesn't actually say anything about a new product update so they will match the price for the older product if the price was reduced. I'm a little interested to know what they do when the product gets cut out of the line up though and there is no price to match.

I bought a PowerBook 667 yesterday on the Apple Store... If there is new PB on Monday, I hope I will be able to cancel the "old" PB and buy the "new" one...
Is it possible to cancel something on the AppleStore???
<strong>For what it's worth, the Apple Store "Be Back Soon" page has the old iTools tab. Probably meaningless, but it's interesting that they would not have updated this placeholder page. Has the store ever gone down in this fashion since .Mac went live?

I find it funny that they dont use some kind of PHP of scripting language to always keep those tabs updated. I mean, surely they dont hard code the pages with pure HTML. Doesnt WebObjects have a functionality that takes care of that ?
Even the smallest websites these days have scripts to keep information current throughout their pages...

And i get this at the uk store: The Apple Store is temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance. Please try again later
