Damn you iTMS!

I couldn't remember the name of an obscure 80's song.

Go to iTMS. Search. Find it.

"Oh, lookee there, it's on someone's iMix..."

And such was my downfall.

One *hour*, *47 singles*, and *eight albums* in my shopping cart later, I realize what I've just done. Before hitting 'Buy', thank god.

Damn you Steve Jobs! Damn you to hell!

Hey look, another iMix!

*click*

edit: Oh thank god, it seems to be down. Now I can go to bed.

You need to give yourself a gift voucher to limit the number of songs you buy.

Even worse! They're putting free "Discovery Downloads" on the genre pages every week for use to find. They're forcing us to work for our free handouts!

Hey tonton! I bought Absolution about a week ago. I'd completely forgotten reading your recommendations until I got it home and then recalled someone at AI going on and on (and on) about it.

Hooley dooley! To call it an album does it a disservice. A "work" would be more fitting. What's these guys story do you know? Are they American? Is this a debut album (I've never heard of them before)? Sounds like whoever wrote this stuff has had some serious classical training.

    Quite extraordinary. Excellent call.

Thanks for that. (Why am I secretly filled with glee to learn they're Poms and not American?)

    I'm currently obsessed with "Blackout".

Damn you for making me have to spend more money on music.

The iTMS is dangerously addictive stuff. Everyone I know who uses it says the same thing. Most recently, my friend here said she was having trouble not buying stuff in the Store, and since her tastes are more mainstream, it has to be tougher for her than me, and I'm going to lose my shirt at this pace.

Did you just happen to stumble across that, or is there some way of finding it without blind luck?

i saw muse at the Reading festival 2 years ago, and boy did they put on a good show.

but IMHO they spend too much time trying to rip off radiohead...
