What time do the announcements go public?

I can't remember what time of day Apple customarily unveils a product change on its website. I'm looking to get a new iBook tomorrow, and I need to know when to be online.

    generally they happen around 9am EST, 6am Pacific. Let us know what kind of iBook you get!

    I thought is was 9am pacific and 12 eastern? Could be wrong but Apple opens at 6am?

    IF there's an announcement it usually is at 9 AM Pacific Time not 6 AM.

    If it's just a press release it's usually done at 9:am ET if it's an event it's usually done either 9am or 10am PT.
