Does anyone have or know anyone with a maccase briefcase? If so are they any good?

I could do with a new case for work.

Or any suggestions? I have a 12" powerbook and associated paraphernalia, also I tend to cary 1 - 2 large books like ones from O'riely .

Those cases are kinda' weak. Cheap materiel, and not designed very well. Go with timbuk2 products.

Yeah I like the timbuk2 bags but I need something a bit more smart at work, more briefcase like.

The trouble with the timbuck2 bags I would probably end up ordering one in orange! LOL

Wow! Boblbee sure has expanded its palette beyond the original hardshell backpack.

jon-e-orange: I second the motion for Timbuk2 bags. I don't go anywhere without my Pee Wee -- with my iBook in a Waterfield Designs SleeveCase inside. You can always pick black-on-gray or something.

By the way, Waterfield Designs makes some very nice bags that close with an airplane seat buckle. They are super-stylish and avant garde but would fit better in a serious business setting than Timbuk2. I would already have bought one if they weren't so expensive. Gotta upgrade my job first.

    For cases I like Marware.

    http://www.marware.com/SFSleeves.html or

    http://www.marware.com/SFExtreme.html

Both are very professional. I have the extreme and use it most of the time. My other bag is from Willow Design, who is going out of business.

http://www.willowdesign.com/ I have their Kemano 17 for when I am going on trips and have to carry more stuff.

Taste is subjective, so be original and stand out with your purchase.
