I'm going to be putting up a website for a client that's low-bandwidth (very optimized, no Flash, etc.), and probably won't be hit central. I've checked register.com and Hostway, are there any other really good deals that anyone could recommend?
pair Networks all the way! I've been using them since 1997 for all my websites. Others now match the $5/month price. But none of them have pair's track record.

I've had a number of sites hosted with them. Good service. No down time. And very inexpensive.
Free: webhosting, 10 email accounts, 20 MB storage (beyond ample for html/flash/images), no banner ads. Cheap domain name registering as well.
Beat that!
I've since upgraded my site to php/mysql (as well as perl and a bunch of other tech) for $130 canadian per year, after taxes.
I haven't tried any of them yet, but they are all ~$8 for 800-2000MB and 40-150GB up per month.
