Jaguar PINK and the significance of PINK.

jaguar PINK has been seeded. and i thought there was some historically relevance to hardware that i'd like to point out regarding PINK but also to jaguar.

Jaguar - Apple's 1st RISC project, based on the Motorola 88000 RISC follow-on called: 88110: MARS - the name and number for the RISC chip used.

Tesseract - PowerPC based RISC tied in with Pink OS. Totally new hardware and OS (very aggressive). When Pink (Taligent) broke off this died (and more moderate PDM survived).

Apple/IBM object-oriented OS: Defiant, Pink -- released by IBM as CommonPoint

Probably nothing but I wonder why they are recycling codenames?

Apple should have waited for the version of OS X called Panther. Then they could have Pink Panther.

    The first sentence is already wrong. <img src="graemlins/oyvey.gif" border="0" alt="[No]" />

    10.2.0 Jaguar

    10.2.1 Jaguar Red

    10.2.2 Jaguar Blue

    10.2.3 Jaguar Green

    10.2.4 Jaguar Pink

My guess would be that jaguar red is like a red alert patch to fix the bugs in the initial jaguar release.

Jaguar Blue added better support for bluetooth.

Jaguar Green means "green light go" because this version will be faster. Just look at the areas being improved.

Jaguar Pink means this version will get you laid...

It all makes sense when you think about it.

So the force feedback support in 10.2.3 will be extended to teledildonics in 10.2.4? Cool!

So when Jag-Pink is released, it's not gonna be a pink "X" to attract girls and men of alternative lifestyles is it? Kinda like the flowerpower iMacs?
