Philip Torrone over at engadget.com has posted a cool hack for the iPod. By recording the sound wave that IR makes and using Griffin?s IR device, he was able to turn his iPod into a universal remote. This brings us one step closer to an iPod remote for AirTunes.

    Impressive! I liked the pictures. I'm glad people keep finding new ways to make the iPod more useful. It's so cool people just won't use it to just play music. Kudos to them!
