Trying to delete the Internet Explorer in OS9 folder, but keep new
Hi,
I have Internet Explorer 5.2 in my Applications folder. Although I don't particularly like explorer, I don't mind keeping it there in case I need to try another browser.
However, I also have IE 5 in my "Mac OS 9 Applications" folder. Is there a way for me to delete the OS9 version, including perferences and such, but keep my OS X version of IE? I don't understand why my computer came with the OS9 version of IE. It seems very silly. Thanks for any advice. It is very much appreciated.
I want to get all of the OS 9 version of IE out, but not hurt anything with the OS 10 version.

1. Internet Explorer folder in Applications (Mac OS 9).
2. Explorer folder in /System Folder/Preferences.
3. Any files beginning with Microsoft in /System Folder/Extensions.
