Need a new CD Burner

My power supply burnt out and while I could spend 30 bucks and get a new one I have seen some burners going for only 100 dollars. I was just wondering if they are cheap because of quality or if that is reasonable. A 100 dollars isn't much more than 30 in my mind especially because it will be faster. To my point, I wondered if there were any brand suggestions, horror stories, or just pieces of advice people could offer.

I recently upgraded a couple of old Sawtooth G4's with 52x CDRW burners. Came out to roughly $35 USD each.

I picked up some OEM Lite-On brand and so far, it's working pretty good...and fast.

As always, check out www.xlr8yourmac.com/ for users success rates with various brands.
