I am ordering a G5, and I'd like to fill it with another 2 GB of high quality RAM. What is the best place to buy, for price/quality?

    I recommend www.crucial.com

    Use their memory selector.

I used 1-800-4MEMORY.com with no complaints. My G5 RAM still works fine.

RamSeaker has a quick list of prices. (Just select Powermac G5 kit from the top of the page)

After years of frustration, the only company I will purchase from online is New Egg: www.newegg.com. New Egg is awesome both with price and customer service.

If your willing to gamble, some good prices can also be found on Price Watch: www.pricewatch.com.

I second that. And buy now; they're prices are really low. (RAM prices are as quick to change as the stock market, and the prices don't always go down) Keep in mind that since you have a G5, you'll have to buy 2 sticks of equal sizes, due to the G5 memory speeds. I'd recommend two sticks of 512, for a total of around $180.
