Can you add a subtitle onto a clip, if so, how do you go about doing that?

    Put the clip on the main timeline, highlight it and use the Title feature to render a subtitle. This will split your scene into two (one with the title and other which is the continuation). You can then move the two clips from the main timeline back to your list of clips .

    have no idea what you are traying to say, there ive never seen a split screen b4 or anything.

    My vocabulary is limited. Try some books on the subject. They have illustrations and tutorials to help. If you are a .Mac member, Apple gives you free iLife training videos on the .Mac website.
