He's been over all other parts of the board and I was hoping that one of the mods would delete him. I already sent one of the mods a PM but I was looking for quicker results.

All the mods can find out the ip's. However giving out that information is considered poor form, though in occasions like this sometimes I think the rules should be broken.
My idiotic brother, I just found out (omglolz), was one of the fools who posted on the forums with the pornographic images. He admitted it to me and my parents. I found these utterly disgusting and he will be punished.

I have a question about IP banning, what problem does it solve? most home users don't have static IPs, the ISPs rotate the IPs for security and to prevent servers from being run on a residential broadband connection, and if this clown is on dialup, what stops him from getting a new IP by judt reconnecting.
and what about an honest joe that gets the banned IP, he is screwed if he wanmts to post.
Why block the IP when in a matter such as this you could have the connection pulled by contacting the ISP, as most ISPs have a decency claus in the TOS, that basicly says "no spamming and no pornographic or offencive flameing(as I am no lawyer, this is the best legal speak I can do)".

Yes IP banning is difficult and not 100 % proof. But we where obliged to do it in the past.
It's not fun for mods to spend one hour cleaning insanities in those forums.
