Offline Data CD File Browser

I'm not sure what to call it, but there use to be, a long time ago on which platform I forget which, a utility that would save the directory contents of CDs/floppies so that you could browse and search through your entire offline archive of media. It would appear that you had every CD in your archive mounted so you could browse through all of their contents, but you could obviously not load or execute anything until you inserted the actual disc.



Is there anything similar for OS X?

    There's also DiskTracker which I'm starting to use extensively, which is very fast and Finder-like.

    Try also CDfinder or Findit.
