    I already have a Gmail account, and I use it pretty frequently, but here's my question: how the heck do I get invites? I invited ONE single person, and then it told me that I had no extra invites, and I haven't gotten any since. Has Google stopped replenishing invites, or am I not using Gmail enough?

    i have no clue. i didn't get any for a long time and then i have gotten 5 or 6 over the past couple of days. the only thing i did between then and now was clean out my inbox and set up filters. maybe if you successfully invite a few people, they give you more & more?i dunno

    I just talked with someone yesterday who works at Google on gmail. They said the invites have to do more with how many users they can support on the system than what you do with your account. Invitation-only access is certainly a good way to predict precisely how many users they'll have at any given time.
