APPLE > TAB brainfart

When I press APPLE > TAB in the Finder to pull up the natty little applications menu bar across the centre of the screen, its cursor is rapidly moving from left to right across all the applications and when I let go of the keys it disappears, rendering it useless.

A month or two ago when I pressed APPLE > TAB the menu appeared, stayed on screen, and I could select an app with the mouse and it worked well.

Anyone any idea what's happened to it since then?

Hold down, cmd, tap tab once, keeping cmd down.

Now hit tab repeatedly to cycle through the apps. Release cmd when you get to the one you want.

Once Apple-tab is initiated, you can (instead of tab to move to the right) hit the ~ key to move to the left.

When you hold the tab it causes it to move rapidly. Just hit Apple - TAB and then let go of TAB , then you can cycle through by pressing tab down each time or picking with your mouse.
