Firstly - iPod mini - success 4GB model is beginning to meet demand though waiting times are still long.



iTunes - over 100,000,000 songs sold - introducing the iTunes rewards - The more you buy the more you get... Reward scheme from Apple.

Which is the new iMac which will get muted response



BUT WAIT - YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT COMES 'NEXT'...

    iSight 2 was already demoed at WWDC when Steve spoke with someone. The image was hi def. However, until Tiger comes there's no need for a hi def camera. There is a new iSight "2" shipping. It has an extra arm assembly to attache it to the new Cinema Displays (and the new iMac?"



    Apple already said no 60GB iPod is coming in the near future. They said that last month. We're still in the near future!

    That was the new H263 codec.

    H264... And you can use it now anyway. I rip my DVD's with handbrake into H264 and watch them with VLC. Have to say... awesome compression. It's not like Apple is sitting on this compression technology, it'll just be built into Quicktime in Tiger.

    I really think in a few hours time - we'll all be complaining as usual. If there has been one thing consistant with Apple is lack of surprises this year.



    I don't think they'll call the iPod 60 - a maxi its just a term so we''ll end this discussion here.

    I guarantee that if they announce a new iMac today:



    Some people will complain that it is too expensive.



    Some people will complain it doesn't have dual 3.0GHz G5s,

    and cost $2000 less that the Power Mac G5.



    Some people will complain that it isn't powerful enough.



    Some people will complain it's an AIO.



    Some people will complain it's not an AIO



    Some people will complain it's not a cube.



    Some people will complain the screen's too big.



    Some people will complain the screen's to small.



    Within a month someone'll post a thread with the title "When will the iMac be updated?"
