Pismo battery

Hi:



Where is a good place to order a battery for my G3 (Pismo) laptop? I went to the local Apple Store today and they told me "We don't sell anything like that". Very helpful!

    was that an actual Apple Store that told you that? because even my terrible local Apple VAR got my wife a replacement Pismo battery from the Texas repair facility within, like, 48 hours.

    u are welcome, if you buy from them let me know how the battery works because I am looking for buying for my Pismo too. I had bought extra Ram and HDs from them and all were ok.

    next time ask someone behind the Genius Bar and not an "apple specialist" (read: salesperson) there are many here that would testify to their incompetence (well at least compared to the average poster--err top 100 or so posters--at this site)

    Yep, it was an actual Apple Sore and I talked to the so called genius.

    I took your advice Alberto. I recieved the battery and all is well. It seems like a nice place to buy from.

    I bought a battery for my Pismo from them in December. It is still running strong at around 6 1/2 hours per charge. It is actually better that the original one that lasted 4 years.
