Hey guys, I just got Gmail and was dissapointed to find out that I can't use it in Mac OS X Jaguar. Is there anything I can do apart from using another browser or upgrading to X.3?

Thanks

Gmail currently supports the following browsers:

Microsoft IE 5.5 and newer (Windows)

Netscape 7.1 and newer (Windows, Macintosh, Linux)

Mozilla 1.4 and newer (Windows, Macintosh, Linux)

Mozilla Firefox 0.8 and newer (Windows, Macintosh, Linux)

    Safari 1.2.1 and newer (Macintosh)

    Use Firefox, works fine.

I realize that, it's just inconvenient having to open up another browser every time I want to use GMail. Is there no other way?

Even if you log in anyways, it won't work. It has to do with an incompatiblity within safari 1.0.x, so there's only ever going to be three fixes: GMail changes their code, you get Panther, or you deal.

Sorry, but I'm afraid the first will never happen, so I suggest you deal with it.

No need to be rude about it.

I do have Panther and I only get a blank page with Gmail? Please help.

I think there is smething wrong with my Safari. What should I do?

I already dumped it, and then downloaded it and reinstalled it.

    Help.

Reload the page. This happens to me quite frequently.
