Software Update problem...

I have a 1gig Titanium Powerbook running 10.3.5 and have recently run Security Update 2004-09-07 version 1.0. Ihis is when I first noticed the problem. I also ran version 1.1 and I still have the problem.



After running Software Update I get the following message:



"An error occurred while checking for updates.



A networking error has occurred: zero byte resource (-1014). Make sure you can connect to the Internet, then try again."



My connection to the internet is fine. I have repaired file permissions and have run MacJanitor as well and still cannot run Software Update successfully.



Any ideas as to the cause?

    Try resetting your pram and then just open SU and see if that gets it going....

    Resetting the PRAM had no effect. I still get the same error message.
