Upgrading to 10.3.5????

I have a new dual 2.5 with 10.3.4. Should I upgrade to 10.3.5? I've read so many problems with it. Is it worth the hassle and headaches. My machine's fans are constantly reving just doing simple tasks like using scroll bars on finder windows, etc... Would the software upgrade fix this? Is there also a fix for the ATI distortion in the upgrade?

Thanks for any help, I'm a newbie.

Dual 2.5, 9800xt, 160hd, 1Gb RAM, 10.3.4

You're a newbie and you have a dual 2.5 PowerMac G5? Must be a rich newbie. Nice system.

I am running Mac OS X 10.3.5 on a PowerBook 12" with no problems that I can tell. Don't know if it would fix your issues, though.

    If it ain't broke...
