FC Express: making a mono track fill both speakers?

I'm dealing with some footage recorded with a interview-style microphone, and since it's mono, it's only occupying the Left track. Is there a way in FCE to make it occupy both left and right sound channels?

(I tried copying and pasting it, and it doesn't work)

to select just an audio track (or one channel), option-click the desired audio clip, then copy and paste into the other channel. option-clicking allows you to do whatever ou want with jsut one channel.

I tried that, it overwrites all of my stuff in that vertical section of the timeline, and gets all funky.

I found that if I just Pan>Pan Center it works.

    Thanks though.
