Quick question - does anybody know when Tiger will be released? I'm thinking of buying a laptop in Jan/Feb and was just wondering if it'll be released by then...

    I'd say it's highly doubtful... probably towards April or May. Just speculation on my part.

    first half of 2005, beyond that there is not official word.



    If you are really pressed, get the Tiger Development Kit for a lot of money to get to play with it.

    Amazon.com had a date of march 2005 on their website last week so let's see if they end up being correct.

    I have a very realiable source that says at the Jan. MacWorld Expo. Shipping may be a month or so later like all the products annouced at the Expo are....But you didn't hear that from me....in fact you know nothing....

    1. Date Announced at MWSF for mid '05,



    2. Date Announced at MWSF for WWDC



    3. Nothing said at MWSF



    those are really the things are going to happen.

    I agree with Negabakid, in that we will possible see a release date confirmed during the MWSF keynote.



    As for the date itself, I'd guess a March/April release date. m.
