20Gb 4G iPod resetting

My iPod's reset's itself every once in a while (every couple of days).



It doesn't clear the hard drive...but the playlists turn into old playlists, and the clicker turns on, and all the default setting are activated.



I'm wondering why this is happening.......software......harware....?



and how can I fix it?

    I believe my 40GB 4g iPod is doing the same thing. I haven't got any answers as yet. It's only done it a couple of times, so I haven't really looked into it.

    That's just the ipod going into 'deep sleep' to save on battery power. It does this if you don't use it for a day or so
