    I don't think Apple can patent the look but the UI of the ipod is patented isn't it? I'm not worried. These portable devices look like competitors when you look at the features but it's in actual use that the iPod really shines. Everyone employes the "PC Mentality" which is to throw everything in and hope the customer perceives value.

    That's about as close a copy of the iPod as I've seen. They are probably skirting the letter of the law when it comes to the design patent. It looks like the center control device does not have a scroll wheel.
