What?s New in iCal 1.5.4

iCal 1.5.4 includes a new security improvement for imported events with alarms. iCal 1.5.2, the previous release, included enhancements in the Info Drawer, To Do alarms and notes, keyboard shortcuts, time zone support, publishing and subscribing behind firewalls, and other stability and performance improvements.

Installed it and ran it. So far so good.

Pretty boring update... I haven't noticed any of these "enhancements" yet.... still can't even do reoccurring To-Do's, auto-import Address Book bdays, or publish to something other than .Mac or WebDAV. Are we really going to have to wait till Tiger to see any new features in iCal?

All I want is to make it searchable.

That should've been in since v1.0.

What I would like to know is how to easily synchronise two Macs' iCals.

My prime calendar is my Palm, and most days I will synchronise it to my iMac. What I'd like to do is then synchronise my imac's iCal to my girlfriends iMac so she can see my diary. We're networked over Airport, so connecting the two iMacs is not an issue.

BTW, I don't want to synchronise my Palm to her iMac, as that will involve unplugging cables etc daily, which is too much effort.

What is WEBDAV? Is that something I can use?

    Any ideas for me?

    Thanks,

    David

    You can indeed repeat Events.

Unfortunately, he was talking about To-Dos, which you cannot repeat.
