Fax gateway?

Can I use the built-in FAX support in OS X as a gateway so I can fax from other machines on the network? Is there an affordable way of doing this?

    you ARE able to "share your fax machine" but I believe it'll be implemented in Tiger.

    How does the client connect to this share? As a shared printer? How is the FAX number, etc. entered on the client? Where can I get more information about this? Thanks.
