Pretty sure it's the martini icon on the GTA printed map (E6 on the grid) in Los Flores neighborhood in Los Santos. North West of the Arena.

It's off the street, there's a parking lot in front of it. Pink sign.

But be careful if you were eating to fix your low health. It negates the health you just got at the first meal.

So last night I was playing and a friend and a roommate joined in on betting at the Off Track Betting place.

We started with about $15,000. We got on an incredible streak. We all would make a consensus for choosing the horse. We made some bold choices and we won 10 times in a row, lost one, took a break, came back and won about 8 more in a row. We're sitting on a cool $58 million and some change.

We of course went and bought all the clothes and houses we could. Low rider is next.

Biggest problem is the largest amount you can enter in one click is $10,000. Our bets are in the $4,000,000 range so it's a team effort to just enter that in!

Aiming for $999,999,999 on principle but I think we're all set for cash as far as buying things?

I had played the horses earlier and had my typical real world luck (mediocre) so I know the race isn't fixed or easy or guaranteed. And I haven't bothered picking up any lucky horseshoes, I think that'd make it a bit too easy.

Well, I've been playing it quite a bit since it got released, and I'm now done with most of it... at around 91% completion. Just some side stuff to do now. I really liked it overall, and especially the new aircraft and most of the missions. Can't wait to see what they'll do with the series for the next one. I assume they won't release anything until the next generation of consoles comes around with more power.

    Love the new tank design.

I just jumped a canyon last night. There is a natural rock formation that is

northwest of the dam. You can't miss it. I took a tricked out nitro car to the

top & gunned it across. The only problem was that when I landed my car it

started to slide back down into the water.

While in the water though I found a new plane. It's called the skimmer. To

find it swim toward the dam. The plane is next to a stairway on the left side

(east side, north of the dam.)

Have you (or anyone here) finished the "Supply Lines" mission?

    That RC plane sucks!

    I hope it's not a "storyline" mission!

Yeah, I finished it. And no, it's not a storyline mission.

Took me half a dozen tries to get it. The important thing is slowing the plane down enough to blow the vehicles up in one pass. You shouldn't need to take very long on the first van and bike, and then head over the rooftops to the others. The one tricky one is the bike guy who shoots back at your frail plane. It's obnoxious to say the least.

BTW, if you go fly around and upgrade your flight skill and then come back to the mission, it should be somewhat easier.

Got all my licenses, Las Venturas is open finally. Still need to get gold in my flying test for the Hunter army helicopter though.

I own the casino and have about $93 million from racing the horsies at OTB. My last bet, it was tallying my win as I was driving home. When I saved and came back it was still tallying it.

Too bad the bets are so hard to enter past the 10K mark. But there is a high rollers table at the Casino I gotta look into/unlock.

But I'm distracted by Ghost Recon 2 at the moment.

Six tries? Man, you've got skills, seriously. I've got to be on about attempt 20.

Thanks for the tip, but I think I'm just gonna say heck with it. It's the first mission I've come across that crossed over from "fun hard" to "frustrating hard."

i think zero's missions tend to be more frustrating and annoying than anyone else's i've done. that fucking one on the roof was the most annoying to me (i like what's his name, the actor, less now because of that mission). my roommate ended up getting the suppy lines down though. iirc, not holding accelerate uses less gas.

did anybody else find it really funny when a dood on one of wuzi's missions whipped out a sword and tried to do battle? i just pulled out a gun and popped him in the head. one shot i think. i thought it was going to be difficult or something. then i just laughed.

but anyway, my life is complete: i have las venturas. i've also found the itb and my map and the game is going swimmingly. whats kind of funny is my friend was doing one of toreno's missions (ontop of that plateau, with the choppers, can't think of the name). he finishes, and finds a helicopter in the water near the package. takes the chopper, accidentally goes over the no-fly and gets shot down. so i load, go to the mission, grab the chopper adn do the same exact thing (die over the no-fly). so we switch off again. same outcome. it took us like 5 tries, and not cause the mission was that hard, but we're too stupid to avoid the missiles. pot can be a dangerous thing.

who knew so much fun could be had for $60 outside of the red light district?

The missions so far (I just got las venturas) have been really easy aside from zero's missions and wrong side of the tracks. Killing the sword guy with a sword was probably as easy as with the gun.

I just finished the game last night. It took me 70 hours & it said that I

completed 80.1% of the game. That last mission is pretty friggin' nuts!

Is there supposed to be anything special when you finish the game? Grand

Theft Auto 3 gave you a tank.

Sounds like a scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark. Some big swashbuckling guy whips out a sword and does all the cool whipping the sword about then comes into his "I will kill you now!" stance. Jones whips out his gun and pops a quick one into the guy's skull and he drops like a rock.

i read that vc spawns new clothes at one of ur places with "I Beat Vice City and All I Got Was This Lousy T Shirt" on it. that might be when u get 100% though. iirc, i did all the storyline missions but never got 100% in vc.

no clue about gta:sa though. i'll have to keep plowing through and see if i can beat it. this game gets in the way of my drinking life though.
