802.11g router and iBook G3

Can my iBook G3 with its 802.11b wirelss card access the internet that is being provided by a 802.11g router? Everywhere I have gone on google says that it is backwards compatible. Does anyone have any experience with this?

    Yes it can connect to both. We have an old airport base station and an AE base station. We also still have one of the original toilet seat iBooks and it connects to both.

    Just in case you still have problems, the router will need to be set up for 802.11g/b not just g, otherwise it will not work.
