Looking at replacing powermac G3

I have had my G3 now for five years and four months. It has had problems along the way, and now I am thinking about replacing it. Which is better, the new imac or a Power Mac G5? I have only ever had a power mac, but have been told the imac is just as nice. Any advice?

    depends on what you're doing. some people say the video on the new imac is poor, so if you want to game, i wouldn't get that, but if your just doing email and browsing etc. go for it. I think it's a nice machine, but if you need to be versatile, get the powermac.
