Apple Store have shipped my iPod.

Guess supply problems are sorted out now.

Damn it I've got 2 coming now!!! Never mind both can be returned...especially if theres an update soon.

UH oh...

I had been secretly harboring desires that the next system update was being delayed because it has clues to a revision of the iPod. Alas. Usually updates are released on Fridays, and it did not happen this week: so I was wondering if they were to be released concurrently on Tuesday, but the above makes me concerned.

There are no iPods in CompUSA's still, and the CDW lack is also interesting. Something is still fishy.

So what is the next date we're waiting for? Next Tuesday?

If Apple releases a $199 iPod, I'm in. If they don't, guess I'll just keep saving my money.

Ya, MacWhispers is saying before Tuesday the 11 (or on the 11th, which is what I'd put my money on) .

MacWhispers has been wrong a lot lately. They claims the new iPods would come out last week, and the week before. The site has a poor reputation. (It is well written though)

199 iPod would sell like hotcakes...maybe too hot and people wouldn't buy the bigger ones? I don't know but i desperately want a 199 ipod being a student and all.

My hunch is that a $199 iPod is an impossibility. My guess is that the revision (when it comes

) on the low end will be 10gb, have a slight feature bump, and be $299.

Here's hoping for Tuesday.

Looking at the Apple Store homepage (UK).

The only item on there that hasn't either a new product sticker or new price sticker is the iPod.

It has to come...obviously not today...maybe tomorrow.

This is the first product intro I can remember that has happened on a Monday. I am about to hit the roof!

yeah as days go buy it seems more and more realistic that there will be 10 20 30 gig ipods at the current price range.
