Sheet dialog boxes

Just something I was wondering about here...



Anyone know why some applications use a save dialog box that "bounces" out of the title bar and others use one that simply drops down? Is it something to do with carbon and cocoa or are there different methods for calling save dialogs?

    I think it depends on the window. For regular windows it just drops down from the bottom of the title bar, whereas for metal windows it comes out of a kinda slot graphic and then drops down.

    That could be it - I noticed it when using Omniweb (normal) vs Safari (metal).
