How do iPod loading services work?

Just puzzling about this. If you pay a service to load your CDs on your iPod using their computer isn't your iPod now linked to that computer? If you want to add more songs using your own computer won't you get the message about deleting everything on the iPod and syncing to the new computer? Or do they have some clever way around this?

    not to sound too harsh, but it is utterly stupid to give someone your iPod to load it.



    I mean, what the heck? Can't you rip a couple of CDs and plug in a firewire/usb cable yourself?



    to answer your question: yes, there is a way to add songs, but not nearly as easy so the usual way, and not advisable either.
